How to use Meeting Room Booking app to display the agenda and booking interface on your screens?

Do you know you can use Meeting Room Booking app in AeriCast to manage your meeting rooms without a third party asset management software/solution? This article will show you the details how to create a Meeting Room Booking app for your meeting room, how users can book an event through the screen, and how admins can manage the events in AeriCast.

Create the Meeting Room Booking app

1. Login to https://aericast.com and click on App in the left navigation menu.
2. Click on "+ Add App" button at right top, and select Meeting Room Booking app from the list.
3. Input the name of the app, and click on Advanced to customize the background image, timezone, user event booking options and etc.
   (It's a good idea to match the Conference Room's name/number to the app's name for easier management.)
   
4. Click Save to create the app

     Now this Meeting Room Booking app is ready to be assigned to a layout, playlist and to a screen.

How to book an event

Once the booking app is displayed on the screen, users can either scan the QR code from their mobile devices or tap the screen, if the screen is a touch-enabled display, to book an event. Users can quickly book an event and select the period, or schedule a coming event through the dropdown list. Once the event is booked, it will then be displayed in the agenda view as shown in the screenshots below.

How to manage the created events?

Admins can view and delete any of the existing events in the app view by going to Apps page and select the Meeting Room Booking app created for the specific meeting room. The created events will be displayed as shown in the screenshot below, and the admins can click on the delete button to remove an event from the system.

That's it! You can now enable the meeting room booking feature on your screen(s) for your space without the need of a third party asset management solution.
